We made sure we were in Duluth for lunch so we could pick up a nalgene growler at Fitger’s, and made one stop at White Winter Winery for mead, cider and bracket. Finally stopped driving somewhere on the Upper Penninsula (Michigan.)
I’ll post more as soon as I catch up on other posts!

Do you have beer festivals like the ones we have in England.at my local toens festival, they usually have 60 different bitters and milds,12 different cloudy ciders and numerous bottled belgian lagers and country wines.A good day out.

We have lots of great festivals in the US, and I have to say I was particularly impressed learning about the one in Michigan (http://mbgmash.org/)
There is a list of festivals worldwide at http://www.beerfestivals.org/ (I think I’ll add it to my beer blogroll!)
